Information We Collect and Use

Parts of our site invite you to subscribe to our newsletter, obtain more information or apply for a relationship with us through one of our member programs. For our newsletter, we obtain and store only your email address. For the other services on our site, we ask for your name, contact information (such as your phone number and address), and information about your business (such as the number of employees and markets served). We use this “personal information” offline to evaluate your application or to supply you with the information you requested.

Besides this personal information, we also collect information relating to the way you use our site, such as what pages you visit or what information you search for, and information such as your IP address or browser type. However, this data is not associated with your personal information. Instead, we use this “anonymous data” to operate our site and statistically to improve our site, for example by identifying which parts of our site especially interest users as a group.

You may change your email address on file with us as necessary or cancel your request for our newsletter. Other information we collect for your application or to send you information is used offline after you submit it. With your permission, we may also use contact information to send you information about our products and services. Even if you choose not to receive such information from us, we reserve the right to use your contact information if we consider it necessary to send you crucial information or in other unusual circumstances. Our site is not intended for use by children.

Sharing Information

We do not allow unaffiliated companies to use your personal information without your permission. When we collect the information, we may ask whether we can share it with third parties and affiliates who may offer products or services of interest. Should Campus Consortium Foundation sell a business unit that uses your personal information, or if Campus Consortium Foundation were acquired by another company, then the information relating to that business would be transferred to the other company and would become subject to their policies.

We may use vendors to help with our newsletter and other activities related to this site, for example, by generating the newsletter emailed to our subscriber list or analyzing what our users’ needs are. In that case, we only permit third parties to use personal information to provide the relevant product or service.

We also share anonymous data concerning our users in the aggregate with business partners and others interested in how our site is used. We do not disclose this anonymous data in any form that could identify you.

We may be required to disclose information to law enforcement or in response to a court order or other government requirement. We may also disclose information that in our judgment is necessary to avoid liability or injury to our company or our customers.

Revising Information

To revise your address for our newsletter, please visit the “subscribe” page on our site. While we may retain some or all the other information you supply (for example, if you are accepted into our Alliance Partner program), it is not available for revision through this website. If you wish to change the information, we have about you and you have a business relationship with us, please tell us your usual business contact, your new address, or other changes. Otherwise, for example, if you have a new address or no longer want to receive our mailings, please email us

We keep personal information concerning you on a secure server. It is protected by a firewall and other electronic security from unauthorized access through the Internet or our network. It is also physically secured against intruders. Our staff is provided access on a “need to know” basis only. These policies may not apply to information transferred offline, such as information obtained from the Alliance Partner application.

A “cookie” is a small text file placed on your computer. It identifies your computer to whoever placed the cookie and could contain information about you although ours do not. We use cookies to help us monitor the use of our site so that we can better understand what information is most valuable to users. Cookies are commonly used on the Internet for various purposes.
